How to Enter a SCMAF Softball Tournament

All tournaments are listed on this web site. Please go to the appropriate section (Men's, Coed, Women's or Seniors for more information.)

The team manager must download an entry and roster form, complete the roster and return along with entry fee ( Please call SCMAF to pay by Visa or MasterCard) to their League Director. The League Director will verify the roster and team classification.

Most Tournaments are held in "D," "E" and "Rec" classifications. "D" Classification Teams can only add up to 2 "C" rated players and 1 "B" rated player. "E" Classification "E" Classification Teams are divided into two categories: "Upper" and "Lower" Division. "Upper" division teams can only add up to 2 "D" rated players and 1 "C" rated player on their Tournament Roster. "Lower" division teams can ONLY add up to 2 "D" rated players on their Tournament Roster. The "REC" Classification Teams can only add 2 "E" rated players to their Tournament Roster. The additional players must participate in the same agency program as the team and in the judgement of the League Director be of equal or lower caliber. Higher rated players are allowed as long as the rated players do not raise the team classification.
The Women's Division will have two Classifications: Upper and Lower. The Women's Classification will be determined by League Directors. All roster changes must be made (verbal or written) by 5:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the Qualifying Tournament. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games in qualifying tournaments. All teams are subject to reclassification prior to, during, or after any tournament.

QUALIFIER ENTRY FEE
$225 Men's team payable to SCMAF plus $13 game fee each game. 
$210 Coed team payable to SCMAF plus $13 game fee each game.

MEN'S CLASSIC'S ENTRY FEE
$285.00 per team payable to SCMAF plus $13 umpire fee each game to be paid at game time

MEN'S DIVISIONAL  ENTRY FEE 
$285 per team payable to SCMAF plus $15 umpire fee each game to be paid at game time

COED DIVISIONAL  ENTRY FEE 
$250 per team payable to SCMAF plus $13 umpire fee each game to be paid at game time

COED Tournament of Champions (TOC) November 5-6 2011
WOMEN'S WINTER CLASSIC (WWC) December 3-4 2011 
ENTRY FEE: $250 per team plus $13 game fee for each game

MEN'S Tournament of Champions (TOC) November 19-20, 2011
ENTRY FEE: $375 per team Early Bird Deadline November 8, 2011  after November 8th $425
- No Umpire fee. Double Elimination Tournament

Note: Classics and Tournament of Champions (TOC) entry fees are different. See tournament schedule flyer for rate or call the SCMAF Office at (626) 448-0853 Ext. 15. Entry Fees must be paid before the day of the Tournament. You may pay with credit card, money order, cashier's check or company check made payable to SCMAF. No refunds will be given once the tournament draw has been completed.

DIVISIONAL BERTH QUALIFICATIONS
SCMAF Qualifiers - Top two teams from a qualifier tournament will qualify for a Men's Divisional Tournament or Coed Summer Divisional Tournament. Points earned go towards seeding for the Tournament of Champions (TOC).

The top point total winners who have earned points through SCMAF sanctioned tournaments (played in a minimum of three tournaments) two Qualifier Tournaments and/or one Divisional/Classic Tournament  will be receive an automatic berth to the Men's Tournament of Champions (TOC).
