NOVICE YOUTH TENNIS TOURNAMENT:  8-15 years

CC South Tournament - Saturday, August 20, 2011 – matches begin at 12:00 pm

CC North Tournament – Saturday, August 27, 2011

The Youth Tennis Tournament is co-sponsored by SCMAF - Channel Cities.  This is a novice tournament for youth who have not won a match in a sanctioned SCTA satellite tournament.  There will be separate divisions for boys and girls, ages 8 to 15 years.  All participants will receive a certificate and items from USTA/SCTA for the first 25 participants that register for each tournament. Those placing first in each age division will receive a trophy.  Deadline to register for the South Tournament is Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 5:00pm. (No postmarks.)  Deadline to register for the North Tournament is Wednesday, August 17, 2011. (No postmarks)  Proof of age is required with the registration.  Participants will be notified by mail of their first match. 

** *** NEW this year**** in keeping with the new USTA rules, 10 and under category will be using the new Quickstart rules, low compression balls and smaller courts.
