City of Fontana Honored at Clippers Game

On Sunday, January 22, before the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Toronto Raptors at the Staples Center, SCMAF Executive Director Tim Ittner presented City of Fontana Mayor Acquanetta Warren with SCMAF's "Golden Shield" Award. The City of Fontana's Mayor was accompanied by fellow City Council members and Fontana Community Services Director, Garth Nelson. The award recognizes active municipal agencies for outstanding contributions to the federation with their work in adult and youth sports.

The City of Fontana holds high professional standards led by outstanding leadership resulting in above quality adult and youth sports programming. Fontana has developed positive and wholesome events for the community, translating to substantial involvement and an impressive regional impact.
