Since 1959, SCMAF has provided at an additional cost, a medical benefit fund for registered team players and coaches who participate in leagues and programs promoted, organized, conducted and supervised by SCMAF Member Agency. The Players Medical Benefit Fund (PMBF) provided by SCMAF renders financial assistance to the injured player participating in league sports.

Individuals and Teams which participate in sports programs that are promoted, organized, conducted and supervised by a SCMAF Member Agency are eligible for PMBF. Participants must be within the geographical boundaries of SCMAF. Registered in the PMBF are covered during all sanctioned league and tournament games from the date of registration with SCMAF through the end of each league season (Plus post season SCMAF qualifying and championship tournaments). 

BENEFITS:

Renders medical assistance financially, of a maximum reimbursement $500, to the injured player (not the hospital of doctor) per 12 month period. 

COVERAGE:

All individual coverage is for the duration of the season, up to SIX MONTHS.

EXCLUSIONS: 

The PMBF Program is not intended to infer and nothing shall be construed that this is an insurance plan or a guarantee of payment of medical bills, not is SCMAF, its members or their agencies responsible or liable for payment of claims to participants of the Fund. 

No claim may be made and no award will be made for (1) property damage to glasses, contact lenses, bridgework, dentures, or other prosthesis; (2) injuries that occur as a result of fighting. 

PMBF 2024 FEES:

All Youth and Adult fees are PER TEAM rates.  Fees are established to cover specific league season schedules only.
