As you know the news has been dominated by coronavirus. Unprecedented actions have been taken by the NBA and the NCAA. Please consult the CDC Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) webpage for guidance for more detail on this rapidly evolving situation. Twenty (20) states and Washington, DC have issued a state of emergency including Arizona, Californian, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Utah and Washington,

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic as the global death toll rose above 4,300 and the number of confirmed cases exceeded 121,000. The U.S. death toll climbed to 31 and the number of U.S. cases rolled past 1,000, federal health officials said. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield told a congressional committee the virus has spread to at least 38 states.

California Public Health authorities have issued their first detailed guidance to K-12 schools as well as colleges and universities about how to respond to the coronavirus.
