2020 SCMAF Track and Field Championships Cancelled

SOUTH EL MONTE — The Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation Board announced today that the 2020 SCMAF Track and Field Championships scheduled for June 7, in Downey has been canceled due to the ongoing concerns with the Coronavirus. 

SCMAF President Rich Carr: “We are sorry that this decision had to be made, but we are certain that it is the right one. These are challenging and uncertain times for all of us but the health of our communities, our associations and our families is our number one priority.” 

SCMAF Executive Director Tim Ittner: "The health and safety of our participants, as well as all involved in our championship event, is SCMAF's highest priority. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 developments and the SCMAF Board will work closely with our member agencies to determine the best path forward for future SCMAF events."

All other SCMAF events through June 1 have been postponed or cancelled. SCMAF appreciates your support and understanding as we adapt to this fluid situation.
