CRAIG YOUNG ANNOUNCED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR 2023 SCMAF INSTITUTE

 

September 20, 2023– South El Monte, CA –SCMAF is excited to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Craig Young.

Craig Young is a counselor, public speaker, and therapist. He has over 25 years of experience in the mental health profession, and has worked with a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, adolescents, teens and groups.

He is passionate about helping families reach their full potential, and believes that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow and thrive.

Craig is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and education. He is a frequent speaker at schools, community organizations, athletic events and conferences.

Craig is the husband of Julie Young, and they have been married for over 27 years. They are the parents of Consensus All-American, Heisman Trophy Winner and First Round draft pick, Bryce Young.

The Institute Committee has been busy planning an informative day filled with dynamic sessions and speakers that will cover a variety of topics that will be beneficial to all recreation professionals.

Registration for the 53rd Annual SCMAF Institute is underway. The Institute will be held at the Yorba Linda Community Center on Thursday, October 5. The deadline to register is Thursday, September 28 by 5:00 p.m.
