SCMAF’s 75th Anniversary Golf Tournament was held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Diamond Bar Golf Course. It was a huge success as our golfers turned out for an early morning of golf and fun. Weather conditions were near perfect as over 75 golfers played on the newly renovated golf course.

The tournament results were as follows:

Winning Low Score Team (59): Eddie Salcedo, Louis Sohn, Leo Garcia, John Arnaiz

Runner-up in Low Score Team (60): Tyler Kyriopoulous, Brandon Seitz, Eddie Rodriquez, John Chacon

Hacker’s Award: Greg Alaniz, Gus Hernandez, Stepanie Martinez, Andy Lee

Following golf was a banquet lunch, awards and a raffle drawing.

A special thanks to Kenny Harris who acted as the event’s Tournament Director and the city of Carson staff who assisted with the golf tournament!

Thanks to our Title Sponsor Great Western Recreation who actively participated in the event and set up a tent at one of the holes supplying goodies to the golfers as they played through.

We are already in the planning stages for next year’s SCMAF’s Golf Tournament Fundraiser to benefit A Better Life Through Sports Foundation which will be held on Thursday, May 15, also at the Diamond Bar Golf Course with an 1 pm shotgun start.
