SCMAF Members were given a unique opportunity as the Los Angeles Angels offered a tour of the facility on Wednesday, March 5. Angel Stadium often referred to by fans as "The Big A",  is the fourth-oldest ballpark in the majors, behind Fenway Park, Wrigley Field and Dodgers Stadium. The stadium has hosted the MLB All Star Game three times as well as hosted the Angels when they won the World Series in 2002. The stadium was also the one time home of the Los Angeles Rams from 1980 to 1994 until their move to St. Louis in 1995.

Over 30 SCMAF members took part in the tour to visit the stadium as the Angels prepared for the 2025 season. With the threat of rain on the horizon, luckily the weather held out during the tour. The Angels ticketing staff offered a 75-minute tour which included the Diamond Club, the Rose Garden, various suites and striking views of the newly laid field.  They Angeles' staff also give a brief presentation about possible ticketing programs which include Day Trips for Summer Camps, Group Outings and Fundraisers.

SCMAF would like to thank Amanda Svolos, Angel Rodriguez and David Neumann from the Los Angeles Angels for giving their time to host us for the tour. SCMAF hopes to offer its membership other opportunities to tour sporting venues in the future and thanks all those that attended the Angel Stadium tour.
