The Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation (SCMAF), a non-profit company promoting a better life through sports and physical activities through out Southern California (www.scmaf.org), announced today that it has officially launched a new website.  According to Bill Bant, SCMAF Marketing/Communications Coordinator, the new website is more closely aligned with the company’s strategic plan for growth over the next decade.

“SCMAF has been part of the Southern California sports community for over 60 years by listening to our participating athletes and building one-on-one relationships with parks and recreation agencies and businesses," Bill commented.  “Our philosophy is to instill a positive attitude and good sportsmanship into sports, but we also recognize the importance of constantly innovating and adapting to new ways of doing business. We recognize that millions of Southern California athletes have participated in our events over the years, but just weren't aware of the organization and volunteers behind them and we hope to change that!"

The new SCMAF website offers a clean, modern design, easy-to-navigate functionality, and a content-rich site experience. Additional sections and interactive features are planned in the future including a Shopping Page and Online Registration to ensure that the new website continues to provide a fresh, versatile experience.

"Our goal in launching this new website is to provide one more access point and online resource for athletes, their families and Parks and Recreation Agencies to learn more about our services and how we can help them in their quest to stay active in their communities,” said Bill.

SCMAF provides and promotes sports training, physical fitness and competition in various sporting events along with insurance services to over 500,000 athletes throughout Southern California. The website will provide a resource on how to participate in these activities plus plenty of photos and videos from SCMAF's sporting events.

The new SCMAF website will also provide social media integration and direct links to SCMAF’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, where  updates will appear on a regular basis.

“We are very proud of the new website and we hope it provides a useful, informative portal for our athletes to get to know SCMAF just a little better!”
