BRAD SCHUMACHER ANNOUNCED AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR 2016 SCMAF INSTITUTE

 

July 7, 2016– South El Monte, CA –SCMAF is excited to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Bradley Schumacher, a two-time Olympic Champion, from the United States. He was part of two gold medal swimming relay teams at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Four years later at the 2000 Games in Australia, he was a member of the USA's water polo team which took 6th place.

In 2004, Brad took over as Director of the nonprofit SET (Saddleback El Toro) Water Polo and Swim Club and has grown the club from 65 to over 350+ members on the water polo and swimming teams.  He also developed a full swim lesson program and introduction water polo program which serves the community.  SET is one of the premier clubs in the nation, consistently competitive nationally and turning out collegiate athletes.

The Institute Committee has been busy planning an informative day filled with dynamic sessions and speakers that will cover a variety of topics that will be beneficial to all recreation professionals.

Registration for the 47th Annual SCMAF Institute is underway. The Institute will be held at the Diamond Bar Center on Thursday, September 29. The deadline to register is Thursday, September 22 by 5:00 p.m.  

A vendor’s fair will be featured throughout the duration of the Institute, with opportunities to win raffle prizes from each vendor in attendance.
