Softball Tournament Information

To compete in a SCMAF Softball Tournament, the team manager must complete a SCMAF Softball Roster Form (see below) and submit it to the Tournament Director by the deadline of the said tournament (Email or Fax). All roster changes must be made (verbal or written) by 5:00 PM on Thursday prior to the Qualifying Tournament. Payment can be made anytime before first game time of said tournament. For credit card payments, please contact the SCMAF office, all major credit cards are accepted.

Most Tournaments are held in "E" and "Rec" classifications. All teams are subject to reclassification prior to, during, or after any tournament. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games in qualifying tournaments.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: The tournament format shall be determined by the Tournament Director. The Tournament Director shall have the right, in the case of a forfeit, adverse weather or any other circumstances, to adjust the tournament format at his/her discretion, at any time.

SCMAF Bat Rule:

Only ASA/USA Softball Certified Bats will be legal for Tournament Play. BE AWARE OF THE VIOLATION ON THE ALTERED BAT RULE. Manger and Player(s) will be ejected from the tournament and at least a one year ban.

Teams playing in SCMAF Qualifiers, Divisionals and Tournament of Champions will earn points based upon the level of tournament and number of teams. Throughout the year, SCMAF will track these points and publish the SCMAF FINAL POINTS RANKINGS in each division. The more you play, the more points you earn. Get your team into the FINAL POINTS RANKINGS!
